OLBA Waiver 2025

Please find below a link to the OLBA Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement. This is a legal document that all club members and guests are required to sign annually. Our club secretary will provide you a paper copy for your signature on your first day of Lawn Bowling.

Injury Waiver

In consideration of acceptance of this registration by the club, I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE the club and each of its members, officers and employees FROM ANY AND ALL claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions and cause of action, whether in law or equity in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to myself or property, arising or to arise by reason of my participation in the club excluding any negligent act, whether by omission or commission of any of the aforesaid persons, parties or entities.

Membership Selection Instructions

Note: this registration does NOT apply to Learn-to-Bowl. Those interested in Learn-to-Bowl sessions, should contact us via email to make arrangements.

This registration, and fees, applies to the 2025-2026 Winter Season (October through April).

In the next section (Membership Selections), all bowlers must select a General membership and the Jitney League. Then, select one of the applicable SESSIONAL fee options: once-per-week, twice-per-week or - only those so appointed by the Board - Lifetime Member (without fees). These fees apply to the current "Registration Season", whether Summer or Winter.

If you do not plan to bowl regularly, you may select Pay-As-You-Play as the "sessional fee". It will appear during registration as a $0 fee, and you will be required to pay $10 cash at the door for each occasion that you bowl during the current season.

As applicable, in the Discount Options section, select a Beginner rate (valid for one season only, a 50% discount).

Payment - in form of cheque or cash - should be brought to the Dome for your first bowling session or to our Registration Day.

Additional Options

	MEMBERSHIP FEE - RETURNING/RENEWING: these members will pay a $10 membership fee, at the start of the Summer season. If the current registration season is Winter, and you already paid this fee for the Summer, then leave this box un-checked
	MEMBERSHIP FEE - BEGINNER: These bowlers will pay the $10 membership fee at the moment of initial registration with the BLBC. Check this box if you are a beginner bowler.
	OLBA FEE: Once per fiscal year (as defined by the OLBA 1 May to 30 Apr), every member must pay a fee of $40 that is forwarded by the Club to the OLBA. All BLBC members will pay this fee at the start of the Summer season, regardless whether they will bowl during that session. Returning Members - if this registration is at start of the Summer season, you must check this box to apply the fee. If this registration is at start of the Winter season, you may leave the box un-checked if you already paid for the Summer season. If you did not pay the fee yet, then you must check this box. New bowlers will pay the OLBA fee at the moment of registering to join the BLBC, regardless which season. Check this box.

Discount Options

BEGINNER rate is 50% of the regular sessional fee. You may choose a once-per-week membership and the fee will be $77.50 (50% of $155), or you may choose a twice-per-week membership and the fee will be $117.50 (50% of $235).
