Experienced bowler or new to the sport, all are welcome. Lawn bowling is an inexpensive sport. All you need to play is comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes (no heels or aggressive tread; tennis sneakers are ideal). Our Club will provide lawn bowls for your use while at the Dome. 

New Bowlers, there is no cost to come out and "give it a try". Just drop by when we are bowling: Mondays & Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m.

Experienced Bowlers from other clubs are welcome to join the Barrie Lawn Bowling Club. 

Bowlers visiting the Barrie area, and having an OLBA #, please feel free to bowl with us as a guest. Drop-in fee is $10 per occasion. 

FEES FOR 2025 / 2026 WINTER SEASON (OCTOBER THROUGH APRIL)

General Membership: Renewing members will pay a $10 membership fee at the start of the Summer season. New bowlers (i.e. Beginners) will pay a $10 membership fee at the moment of initial registration with the Barrie LBC.

OLBA Fee: Renewing members will pay a $40 OLBA fee at the start of the Summer season. New bowlers (i.e. Beginners) will pay a $40 OLBA fee at the moment of initial registration with the Barrie LBC.

Winter Sessional Fee - Once-Per-Week Play: $155. This fee applies to Winter Season (October through April).

Winter Sessional Fee - Twice-Per-Week Play: $235. This fee applies to the Winter Season (October through April).

New Bowler Discount: For their first season (Summer or Winter), new bowlers (i.e. beginners) will enjoy a 50% discount of the Sessional Fee. 

Note: fees for the 2026 Summer Season will be announced in the Spring 2026.
